Ways to Serve in Worship Ministries
There are five areas to explore if you would like to serve in Worship Ministries:
Choirs
OPCC Choir
The OPCC Choir is a great family of men and women who minister in our Sunday services in worship and special songs and participates in Seasonal concerts and dramatic presentations. The Choir is always accepting new members! Just contact us to let us know your interest and check it out at a Tuesday rehearsal.

Youth Choir: Grades 7-12
This dynamic choir of young people experience quality singing instruction along with monthly opportunities to minister in song. Directors: Kathy Smedley and Amy Smedley.

Children’s Choir: Grades 1-6
Loving and fun leaders provide wonderful instruction in singing and music. The children share in song periodically throughout the year. Directors: Kathy Smedley and Amy Smedley.

Worship Team
The worship teams provide worship leadership for our three church services (Sunday am/pm and Wed pm). Rehearsals vary according to the church service and team. Vocalists and instrumentalists are encouraged to inquire about using your musical skills for the glory of the Lord and to bless His people.

Seasonal Presentations
Throughout the year the Worship Ministries presents several outreach events such as the Easter Season Illustrated Sermon, Patriotic Celebration, Missions conference services and a Christmas Production. There are many opportunities for involvement for people with interest and skill in set design/construction, costuming, make-up, drama, lighting, etc. Find your creative outlet in these ministry opportunities!

Technical Ministry
The Technical Minstry provides an opportunity to serve God through the Audio/Video/Lighting ministry and the Sermon CD duplication ministry. Volunteers are always welcome and training is provided. On the creative side of Technical ministry are the opportunities to serve in the Computer Graphics, Video Arts and Fine Arts ministry. We would like to talk to you about your interest and skill in these areas.

Drama Ministry
Using the art of visual story-telling, scripture readings, readers theatre and short drama sketches, we seek to bring worship to the Lord Jesus. Join us as we develop this ministry to encourage our congregation and reach our community for Christ.
