Hello Church Family!
The week we received great news - that Contra Costa County has now entered a new phase for the COVID-19 reopening system. This means that as a church, we are now able to meet indoors with up to 100 people in attendance. (Source)
This Sunday, October 4, we will offer two options for in-person worship:
9:00am outdoors (with unlimited attendance)- No RSVP required
10:45am indoors (up to 100 people)- RSVP required
We will continue to stream our 10:45am service online for those who do not feel comfortable meeting in person.
If you would like to attend the outdoor 9am service, no RSVP is required. We will continue to offer outdoor kids activities during this time. Limited nursery care is also available with reservation by emailing Pastor Allyse at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you would like to attend the 10:45am service, you must RSVP at this link. Limited nursery and children's ministry will also be available with an RSVP.
Please note that masks are required at both services. We also ask that you please worship from home if you are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19. Because we will not be taking temperatures at the door, we ask that you please do a "self-check" at home and make sure your temperature is below 99 degrees to attend. This is part of the requirements set forth by the Contra Costa County Health Department. We will have hand sanitizing stations available and surfaces will be sanitized before and after each service.
This Sunday through Wednesday (October 4-7) we will also be collecting non-perishable food for the Contra Costa Food Bank. You may bring your items to the church on Sunday morning or to the office Monday through Wednesday from 10am-2pm. Please see this link for food items needed.
Let us continue to pray that our county will move forward, cases continue to go down, and we can continue to meet indoors. Pastor Pancho will be bringing us a great word on Sunday, continuing in our series "Divine Interruptions." We hope to see you there!
