Pastor Allyse came to Oak Park Christian Center in 2003. She had a heart for children’s ministries and started working in the church nursery and preschool.  Pastor Allyse was mentored by the previous children’s pastor as the Elementary Coordinator,  and soon felt led by God to become a children’s pastor. She began to take courses with Berean School of the Bible for her Ministerial Credential and eventually stepped into the role as Children’s Ministry Director. Allyse became our full-time Children’s Pastor in 2016. She has a strong desire that all children, no matter their circumstance or special need, will come to know the Lord and serve Him their whole life.  Pastor Allyse holds a California Teaching Credential and is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. Youth Pastor  - Scott Martin

Pastor Scott received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at age 15 at a youth event in Pleasant Hill.  Shortly after this He met the second love of His life, Andrea, in High School.  After High School, Scott felt the call to Christian ministry, and ultimately the call to serve others.  At 18, he served as Junior High Director at the same youth group where he received Jesus three years prior!

After marrying Andrea in 2003, and simultaneously graduating from Cal State Hayward, Scott began teaching full time at Tabernacle Christian School in Concord. Scott served faithfully there for the past 17 plus years and continues serving as a part-time chaplain.  His wife Andrea fulfilled her God call by becoming an RN with Kaiser.  Andrea is currently pursuing her Doctorate to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, in hopes of one day being a missionary doctor (both at home and abroad).  During the past 10 years Scott and Andrea have led several Junior High & High School youth groups as both volunteers and Church Leaders.

Pastor Scott felt a strong call from the Lord to become a pastor 10 years ago. In 2018, he became a licensed pastor through the Assemblies of God and in 2020 he became Ordained. This was especially meaningful to Scott as he followed the footsteps of his Grandfather who was also a Pastor. He is hoping to pursue his Master's of Divinity in the near future.  Pastor Scott and Andrea have a huge heart for many things: 1) Seeing the lost become found 2) Missions 3) Youth 4) serving the "least of these." 5) Hosting events 6) Worshipping God 7) Their awesome son Noah 8) Reconciling others to Jesus 9) Traveling 10) Karaoke, Board games, & having fun with family and friends!  Scott, Andrea, and their son Noah live in Concord with their Tea-Cup Chihuahua! You can contact Pastor Scott at scott@opccag.org.

Worship Director  - Zac Smedley

Zac grew up at Oak Park Christian Center. At an early age he accepted Christ and began to develop his musical abilities by singing in choirs and trying to learn any instrument he could get his hands on. As a young teenager, Zac became involved in the worship ministries and eventually led the youth worship team for several years. After attending college at Azusa Pacific University and earning a Bachelor of Arts in music, Zac moved back home and married his high school sweetheart, Allison, who also grew up at Oak Park. Shortly after getting married, Zac began directing the Adult Choir, which he has led for 14 years, while being as involved in the other areas of the worship community as his career in live event production would allow. Zac and Allison have four children, Ethan, Elijah, Charlotte, and Marigold. In addition to music, Zac loves to travel, cook and eat BBQ, and watch the Giants beat the Dodgers.
